The project link uniquely identifies the project within the organization. If it is not entered during project creation, it will be automatically generated from the project name.
If a project link is already taken within an organization, you will be asked to choose a different one.
To edit the link after project creation, you can go to Project Settings > Edit basic info and edit the URL as per your needs.
Project link restrictions
The project links have the following restrictions:
Uppercase letters are not allowed.
Only upto 80 characters are allowed.
Consecutive hyphens are not allowed, like "neetoplanner--roadmap"
The following words are not allowed: admin, projects, reports, members, settings, dashboard, tasks, finder, chats & unauthorized.
Leading or trailing whitespace are not allowed.
Special characters like #, @, $, etc. are not allowed.
Project links should not begin or end with a hyphen, like "-link" or "link-."
Using hyphens or underscores is allowed to separate words in the link.
